TangoBC, from Buenos Aires, will perform live music for dancing at a very special Milonga del Centro in Salt Lake City on Saturday, May 13. They also will teach a workshop on tango musicality for dancers earlier that day.

Mariano Barreiro, a pianist, and Santiago Cursach, on guitar, comprise TangoBC, a musical duo who have played at milongas and festivals in Europe and North America. Their most recent festival appearance was the Official USA Championship and Tango Festival in San Francisco this spring. They also have recorded with noted tango musicians including Pablo Agri and Horacio Romo. They regularly play at milongas in Buenos Aires, including the Milonga Parakultural at Salon Canning.
