Come celebrate the installation of two new dance floors at the E.W. Garbett Center for Choral Music and thank those who supported this project and made it possible.
The grand-opening gala, from 5 to 7 p.m., will have light refreshments, recognition of donors, and demo performances by Salt Lake Choral Artists, Salt Lake Scandi Dance, Wasatch Contras, and local tango dancers.
A full contra dance will then be held in the upstairs space from 7 to 10:30 p.m., and a tango milonga will take place on the downstairs dance floor from 9 p.m. to 12:30.
